Sunrisers Hyderabad, often written as SunRisers Hyderabad or SRH, is a cricket team from Hyderabad, a city in Telangana, India. They play in the Indian Premier League (IPL), a big cricket tournament. The team is owned by Kalanithi Maran of the SUN Group. It was formed in 2012 after another team from Hyderabad, Deccan Chargers, was removed from the IPL. They mainly play their home games at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad, which can hold up to 38,000 people.
